Nice rewind! When I think "guitars" and "2004," three albums come to mind: Bows+Arrows by The Walkmen (featuring The Rat), Leviathan by Mastodon (maximum heaviosity), and A Ghost Is Born by Wilco (Tweedy and Stirratt go ape).
Thanks, Jeremy! I only realised recently that all those solos on A Ghost Is Born are from Tweedy, and that Nels only joined to take over that side of things right after! What a great group they are.
