The playwright Paula Vogel has spoken about her play in precisely those terms, taking a scenario akin to Nabokov's Lolita and telling it from the girl's perspective, or rather the perspective of the woman the girl later became. That's a revelatory way of viewing Ultraviolence--thanks Matthew!
